INSTALLATION OF YOUR AIR CONDITIONER
To help in your decision making process, Aironline.com has provided you with indicative prices used by installation sub-contractors in Sydney. The prices cover most aspects of an air-conditioner installation. The prices are a guide only and you should have your installer inspect the installation before any commitments are made. We have also provided an 'extra charges' section for common extras required in making some installations a reality. Always make sure any sub-contractor you use is a qualified refrigeration mechanic and any electrical work is carried out by a qualified electrician.

Extra Charges
1. Should an existing circuit be found to be inadequate or at capacity, dedicated circuit charges shall apply.
2. Extra wiring is charged at $15 per metre
3.Surface Mounted conduit is charged at $17 per metre including the wiring.
4. "Aussie Duct" is charged at $35 per metre including wiring.
5. Extra refrigeration pipework is charged at $60 per metre including installation.
6. Extra refrigerant is charged at $90 per kilo. Applicable only for installations over 8m.
7. Concrete core holes as required are charged at $400 per core hole.
8. Extra holes (more than two, which are included in the base package) are charged at $50 per hole.
9. Craneage as required is charged at $650 per lift in most metropolitan areas, subject to an inspection and review of any council fees applicable.
